An African Son.

His roots came from Georgia (🇺🇸 ),

but mainly from the coastal plains of West Africa;

a Liberian, an African son.

“Tubman!” And since then, there have been no other “Tubman.”

Amid the Americos (African-Americans) versus the Natives (Liberians of African descent),

he spoke of “African unity.”

Liberia, a history not too perfect, so as that of our founding fathers 🇺🇸.

Not perfect, like any other man, but he became the modern father of 🇱🇷.

Not perfect, but under his administration 🇱🇷 was richer than Japan.

Not perfect, but under his leadership, our grand and great grandparents could still speak of freedoms they experienced.

Anti-opposition, he stood tall.

Not perfect, his dreams of a better 🇱🇷 still stands.

In this new year, what are your dreams for a better 🇱🇷?

Don’t focus on the negatives, but a positive mind to all of 🇱🇷 the problems.

From this day forward, I call on “UNITY” amongst Liberians even if you cannot see the staircase.

Every dream should mend together as a perfect whole for a God-fearing prosperous nation.

Pan-Africanism: To my African-American brothers/sisters, distant cousins, relatives, etc., Liberia (Land of the Free) awaits you. A developed Liberia is not possible without “UNITY.” You are “Liberian!” And Liberia is you!!
