Their eyes tell silent stories of distress.

Tales that would astound even the darkest of souls.

These eyes had even seen the worst of times.

From the ex-child soldiers of

Colombia, South Sudan, Yemen, Sierra Leone,

Liberia, DRC, and to the plains of Burma.

Let God brings shame to the MEN

who are willing to take advantage of an irreplaceable innocence.

Forgive those who persecute you and had made you held the weight of an entire nation on your shoulders.

By fighting the very same people, that liberated you.

Resist the spirit that made you immune to structural violence.

From a ‘victim’ to a ‘perpetrator’ became the evolving means.

12 and 17 years old are generals within the Mai-Mai

waging havoc in KIVU.

The challenges faced by ex-child…
