IN DELIGHT (Poetry).

In delight
When love at first sight gleamed
To be a lasting moment’s ornament
Her skin, heaven;
I keep on grasping and
I am amazed by her long beautiful oriental hair.

But all things else about her drawn

From Midsummer time and Autumn’s Dawn;

She was upon my nearer view,

like an angel send from heaven
She’s one of a kind and hard to find, yet a Woman too!

Promises and whispers of words were sweet;

Her gentle human touch as her hands glide my feet

It’s a human’s nature;

her simple expressions,

I praised, as we kiss

All tears to calm the lover’s fears

In Delight, this love is serene

She’s my source of support
When we lecture, I respect her input

because this love is real and it’s here to stay
