Liliʻuokalani (Poetry) 🇺🇸.

The Moana of extravagant tales, of which men have sailed.
Where are thee, the flower of Hawaii?
Beautiful Wahine.
Every time, I look at your picture,
I am reminded of Kanaka Maoli.
Liliuokalani, 1838.
The beauty of all beauties that have hugged the land.
Many of us see this place as paradise, but this is your home.
No imperialization would make it the other.
Aloha has always been a gentle word towards the vacationist.
I pray for peace of warm comfort.
Nothing should wipe away this peace.
After the rain will come the sun.
