Malcolm X’s Visit to Liberia 🇱🇷.

Malcolm X’s visit to Liberia 🇱🇷 and what did he conclude about the Americo-Liberians (Liberians of Black-American descendants), his people? X’s visit to Liberia was low-key and wasn’t discussed much in U.S. media. But, Malcolm X concluded one thing. He went on to say, as I paraphrase, “The Negroes in Liberia at the time had a face of their Masters and were the new colonizers of the people that looked like them.” He pretty much sums that the Americo-Liberians were “House Negroes.”And these words came from Malcolm, one of the most realist BLACK revolutionaries in human history. Those words hold weight, and it makes you wonder how we still treat each other in that rich but stricken developing country due to the “US versus THEM.”

Note to the readers: Malcolm X saw and concluded. Freedom of expression. What he saw it’s what he experienced. And everyone who went to Liberia at that time would have a different experience and opinions of what they saw and experienced.
