Through the chains of slavery that set our distant relatives apart, the pain endured,
Our spirits unbroken, a flame that assured.
In the rhythm of the drums, the heartbeat of the land, from Nigeria to South Africa,
A symphony of voices, united hand in hand,
From the Masai Mara to the bustling city of Cape Town,
A chorus of resilience, a melody that repeats.
In the eyes of our elders, wisdom takes its form,
Their stories etched in wrinkles, weathered by the storm,
They carry the weight of history on their backs,
Guiding the youth, ensuring nothing lacks.
The children, with dreams as vast as the sky,
Their laughter echoes as they reach up high,
They dance with joy, their spirits unconfined,
