The Future? Saudi Arabia’s Controversial Mega-City (THE LINE)

It’s 2030, and THE FUTURE OF URBAN LIVING is upon us. The media flogged to this new city. And, out of nowhere, tourists are lured to “THE LINE,” and it’s a new craze of everyone’s dream destination. Years prior, what others thought would never be possible is now a reality; it’s now a reality for the Saudis. Their dreams have now created hope for more cities of the future.

Imagine for a second, and everything about this future reminds you of movies you’ve once seen that start with a mega company introducing a city of the future. Then we cut to our main character living in a modern, spacious one-bedroom apartment; as we panned in, he’s slowly awake by the smooth noise of his smart alarm. As he gets ready for work, a noise from (the city) THE LINE, the audience is drawn. We are drawn to the busy noise from THE LINE.

He approaches the spacious 3D window, the curtains unveiled, something out of this world, surreal, as the camera follows him. Boom! Unimaginable; our sights have never…
