Meet Konica Ladanan Ajet, musically known as “NICA KOE.” Nica Koe is a Cagayan de Oro-based singer. She’s from a family of musicians. She started singing at the age of seven through her mother’s encouragement. Her mother was a band singer of her time and trained her to sing live. Influenced by the Music and style of Shania Twain, Patti Austin, D’Sound, and KZ Tandingan, Nica Koe stands out and is determined to stay that way.

The 23-year-old artist has a broad goal of expanding her music style and explore new sounds and opportunities. She has performed in different events and gigs such as weddings, debuts, and local concerts and collaborated with other local bands and singers.

In September 2018, Nica Koe released her First Indie Single “Love Song on Mute,” written and produced by her friend, Jonathan Ian Catalan, an artist who is also based in Cagayan de Oro City. But with her determination to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer. She joined Tawag ng Tanghalan of ABS-CBN’s Showtime, where she became one of the first Mindanao Contenders last November 3, 2018.

Nica Koe is currently signed to Ethno Records and released her first-ever single “LOVE IN BOULDER.”
