They are going to lock Manafort up and throws away the keys!!

President Trump’s past election campaign manager Paul Manafort should be imprisoned for up to 24 years, special counsel Robert Mueller says. In the probe, Mr. Manafort was convicted of financial duplicity on charges connecting to his role as an executive adviser in Ukraine.

Instead of going down alone, Mr. Manafort accepted a plea bargain on the charges in return for collaborating with Mr. Mueller’s probe into Russian interference of the 2016 US election campaign. At the beginning of this week, Mr. Manafort was pronounced guilty of breaching his plea agreement. The 69-year-old, who was one of the leading cynosures in Mueller’s probe, was found to have lied to investigators.

On Thursday, US District Court Judge Amy Jackson ordered that Manafort had “made various misleading accounts” to the FBI, Mr. Mueller’s office and a grand jury.”The sentence here should reflect the seriousness of these crimes, and serve to both deter Manafort and others from engaging in such conduct.”

In her decision on Wednesday, Judge Berman Jackson said there was proof that explicated that Manafort had lied about three various issues, including his communications with Konstantin Kilimnik, a Russian governmental consultant. Investigators claim Mr. Kilimnik had links to Russian intelligence.

Prior to these incidents, he was charged with 18 charges against him, and was found liable of eight last year August of 2018. The eight charges that he was indicted on aware of a tax scam, bank fraud and declining to disclose his foreign bank accounts. So, what’s really next for Manafort? Is it the end of the man, or the beginning of a new chapter?
