“UBUNTU” (Poetry). 🏫
When they told you “Blacks”
were thugs, uneducated, ignorant, low-life, lazy,
and were not as worthy as other beings,
they were wrong.
They didn’t tell you about the great ones who shocked the world.
When they told you that all White men are racist and ancestors held slaves,
they didn’t tell you about the abolitionists and the ones that marched with Dr.King.
When they told you that beauty was having
a fair skin, botox, big booty, pointy noise
and not self-esteem or accepting oneself and embracing one’s culture,
they were wrong then and still is now.
When they told you that true love should be attached
to one’s religion or race.
They were caged in old ideologies and brainwashed by a system.
The only system that I know of is “UBUNTU.”
Because true love has no race attached to it.
The only “RACE” is the “HUMAN-RACE.” Learn that.
