In the shadows of my soul, a darkness loomed,

Unhappiness consumed, leaving me entombed.

Lost and adrift, I wandered aimlessly,

Searching for a light to set my spirit free.

But within the depths of despair’s cruel embrace,

Lay the seeds of self-discovery, a sacred space.

For in the darkest moments, we find our strength,

A chance to rebuild, to go to any length.

I embarked on a journey, deep within my core,

To unearth the pieces of myself I’d ignored.

With each step forward, I began to see,

The power within, waiting to be set free.

I learned to embrace the pain, the sorrow and strife,

For they were the catalysts that shaped my life.

They taught me resilience, to rise from the fall,

And to embrace my flaws, as part of my all.

In the fragments of brokenness, I found my voice,

A melody of authenticity, my heart’s choice.

I shed the masks I wore, to fit societal norms,
